Along with a daily martial arts lesson, campers are treated to a variety of fun-filled trips. Our dedicated and caring camp staff focuses on ensuring the physical and emotional safety of the campers, while allowing them to have a fun and inspirational camp experience. Tae Kwon Do for Children
Our Children Tae Kwon Do Program offer classes for kids ages six through twelve years old. Traditional martial arts skills are taught with the objective of developing a more confident, aware, disciplined, respectful, and peaceful student. Our program channel children's energy in a positive manner while enhancing children's assertiveness. “Our twin sons Max & Nick started their first Tae-Kwon-Do class in June of 2009. They were 9 years-old then and over the years had tried various team sports. Unfortunately they had not found a sport that fit their talents as well as our busy schedule. Once our boys finished their first month trial at EMA they were hooked. For the first time they found a sport they were really excited about. They are both small but physically strong and with a surplus of energy and endurance.” Gabi K.
Tae Kwon Do for Adults & Teens
The Adults and Teens Program allows student ages thirteen and up the opportunity to learn self defense techniques, increase flexibility and endurance, strengthen mental focus, and achieve greater overall health. "I like EMA because it helps reinforce what my parents teach me about respect for authority. Also I feel that in a dangerous situation I'd know what to do before I panic. I've made lots of friends that I've known for 7 years." Isabella N.
Tae Kwon Do for Families
Martial Arts is a great activity to do with your family members. Parents and kids can work side by side while learning traditional skills. Family discounts also make it a great activity for everyone to share.
“As parents, we have many opportunities to bring our children to and from events, meet other parents, and watch our children from the sidelines as they grow and develop. But, at EMA I have the opportunity to actually participate in my children’s activities so I learn and grow with them. I know their friends and parents because we workout during the week and periodically get together to socialize. Whether it is an EMA sponsored holiday party, a cookout at a friend’s home, or just a night out with other parents, martial arts is more than just exercise.” Eric M.
